HUBUNGAN INISIASI MENYUSUI DINI (IMD) DENGAN LAKTASI PADA IBU POST PARTUM NORMAL DI RUMAH SAKIT KHUSUS BERSALIN BALIKPAPAN TAHUN 2016

Factors affecting low exclusive breastfeeding, one of which is because not all babies get early breastfeeding initiation. By not doing early breastfeeding initiation can  problem on breastfeeding and milk production in the mother. Breastfeeding is not only good for the mother and baby, but helpful for the family and the State (Roesli, 2012) This study aims to determine the effect of Early Initiation of Breastfeeding (IMD) with Lactation  in the mother post partum normal in the hospital spcial maternity Balikpapan 2016. This research method is descriptive analytical cross-sectional study design. The study population was all women postpartum in hospital special maternity baby mother and hospital Ibnu Sina Balikpapan. Samples taken by purposive sampling. Data analysis techniques using univariate analysis with frequency distribution and bivariate analysis with the test the uji chi square with a confidence level (CI 95%) and a = 5%. The results of the study on puerperal women treated early breastfeeding initiation according to standard operation prosedures (SOP) contained 13 respondents (86,7%) were their milk production smoothly and 2 respondent (13,3%) that her milk production is not smooth. And puerperal women treated with early breastfeeding initiation are not appropriate SOP 10 respondents (80%) of its milk production is not smooth and 2 respondents (66,7%) of its not current milk production. And no significant effect of early breastfeeding initiation on milk production where Hasil χ²_hitung  = 6,806 > χ²tabel 3,841 the obtained value of signifikan = 0,009 <  α  0,05,value OR the obtained resalt  = 13,000,that is the mother post partum that I have a chance 13 times for breast smoothhly. Based on these results the researchers conclusion that there is a significant relationship between early initiation of breastfeeding on breast milk production. So the researchers suggested to her husband, family and health care workers to be able to initiate early breastfeeding immediately after birth for a whole hour so smooth milk production that will surely provide benefits to mother her baby

Abstrak

Faktor yang mempengaruhi rendahnya pemberian ASI eksklusif, salah satunya dikarenakan belum semua bayi memperoleh IMD. Dengan tidak dilakukannya IMD dapat megakibatkan masalah terhadap proses menyusui serta Laktasi pada ibu. Pemberian ASI (Menyusui) bukan hanya baik bagi ibu dan bayi, tetapi bermanfaat bagi keluarga dan Negara (Roesli, 2012) Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Hubungan Inisiasi Menyusu Dini (IMD) Dengan  Laktasi pada ibu Post Partum Normal di  Rumah Sakit Khusus Bersalin Balikpapan  tahun 2016. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif  yang bersifat deskriptif analitik dengan desain penelitian cross sectional. Populasi penelitian adalah ibu Post Partum normal di RS khusus Bersalin Sayang Ibu dan RS Ibnu Sina Balikpapan. Sampel diambil secara non probability sampling yaitu purposive sampling. Teknik Analisa data menggunakan analisa univariat dengan distribusi frekuensi dan analisa bivariat dengan uji statistik uji chi square dengan tingkat kepercayaan (CI 95%) serta a = 5%. Hasil penelitian pada ibu post partum normal yang diberi perlakuan IMD sesuai SOP terdapat 13 responden (86,7%) yang produksi ASI-nya lancar dan 2 responden (13,3%) yang produksi ASI-nya tidak lancar. Dan ibu nifas yang diberi perlakuan IMD tidak sesuai SOP terdapat  5 responden (33,3%) produksi ASI-nya  lancar dan 10 responden (66,7%) produksi ASI-nya tidak  lancar. Dan ada Hubungan  yang signifikan antara inisiasi menyusu dini (IMD) dengan Laktasi pada  ibu post partum normal dimana Hasil χ²_hitung  = 6,806 > χ²tabel 3,841didapatkan nilai signifikan = 0,009 <  α  0,05,nilai OR diperoleh hasil  = 13,000,artinya ibu post partum yang IMD punya peluang 13 kali untuk ASI lancar. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini peneliti menarik kesimpulan bahwa ada Hubungan yang signifikan antara inisiasi menyusu dini dengan laktasi  ibu. Sehingga peneliti  menyarankan kepada suami, keluarga serta petugas kesehatan untuk dapat melakukan inisiasi menyusu dini segera setelah bayi lahir selama satu jam penuh sehingga produksi air susu/laktasi ibu lancar yang tentunya selain memberikan keuntungan untuk ibu juga bayinya.
