PENGGUNAAN VIDEO TERHADAP PENGETAHUAN IBU HAMIL TENTANG TABLET TAMBAH DARAH
Abstract
AbstractGiving blood-added tablets is a step to prevent anemia in pregnant women, good knowledge will affect the sincerity and behavior in maintaining their health. This study examines the effect of health education with video media on increasing knowledge of pregnant women about blood-added tablets at the Penajam Health Center in 2022. The study used a pre-experimental design with one group pretest-posttest design. The research sample was taken using total sampling, 47 respondents were anemic pregnant women. Bivariate analysis using paired sample T-test. Knowledge of pretest and posttest has a P-value of 0.000 with a mean pretest value of 33,42 and a mean posttest of 64,33. There is a significant effect between health education and video media on increasing the knowledge of pregnant women about blood-added tablets at the Penajam Health Center in 2022.
The use of video media can be recommended as one of the methods in providing health education, but in its implementation it should be accompanied by health workers so that when there are questions that arise as a result of watching the video, they can be immediately responded and explained by the health assistant.
